Welcome to the AER Group! We are a custom model railroad design and facbrication company offering beautifully handcrafted N, HO, O or G Scale Model Railroads. Located in Covington, Kentucky our eleven hundred foot facility offers custom benchwork and layout design for your home or business. We start all of our projects by determining the size and operating location of your layout. As a team we consider both the timeline and operating budget to satisfy production expectations. Other key elements we focus on are your imagination and operating experience to blend a particular operating era, season or theme. Here we have a Platinum Series Custom Model Railroad Layout featuring five cab analog operations on main lines. Layout features upper and lower mains with small grade paralelling river with barges. System features over two dozen buit-up structures and over a dozen vehicles. Layout also features a Custom Built 60″x16″ Control Panel. Control features include some three dozen turnout controllers, eight structural lighting controllers and a varierty of block controls. In addition, a custom track plan rendering covering turnout and block locations is mounted in the center of the panel for immediate reference. Customization is our specialty.
