That is really starting to take shape! What do you think of the uni track compared to flex track?
I gotta tell ya , I Love It !!!
Mike
Mike, in regards to the track… hows the cost difference of flex & roadbed vs uni-track. How much more are you paying for the stability and stress free construction vs the headache but flexibility of flex track?
the yard is very cool and are you going to add a loco shop too with the car repair shop?
Take into account the turnouts also have motors included I would sat not much diff. if you add roadbed , turnout motors , ballast , glue , and time.
It is also nice to be able to lay out the whole thing , then put it down permanent.
Mike
Yes , the turn table and roundhouse will go to the left of the doorway on the small shelf.
Thanks , Mike
Not as many possabilities but the track and quality and ease greatly out weigh the flex for my new layout.
Mike; Are the turnouts in the yard #4s or #6s.
Thanks,
Tom.
Thanks Tom , They are all #6’s.
Mike
nice layout easytrack is the best
My easytrack switches are soo annoying.
-_-
Every time my train comes over it, the rear truck keeps going straight! Any Suggestions?
This is not easy track but rather Kato UniTrack.
Thanks , Mike
It may not be a track problem but rather out of guage wheels on the rear truck. It could be many things. Do you have trouble with other locomotives?
Other engine is working fine now. I just jiggled the truck a bit. I have a 0-8-0 that dies out every few seconds and the tender keeps going straight. I love it, but re-railing it every time is soo annoying. Sorry for complaining, this is just seems so professional. So that’s why im asking you for help.
Steam engines are very trublesome as a rule anyway but I would check guage of wheels and clean the track and locomotive wheels.
Thanks , Mike
